Oakland, Mich. beats Utah Valley 89-83

OAKLAND, Mich. (AP) — Reggie Hamilton scored 34 points Friday night to lead Oakland, Michigan to an 89-83 victory over Utah Valley.

Hamilton was 10 for 21 from the floor and 13 of 16 from the free-throw line for the Golden Grizzlies (3-2). He made one of his nine 3-point tries.

Laval Lucas-Perry scored 15 points, Travis Bader had 12 points and Corey Petros grabbed 13 rebounds for Oakland. Lucas-Perry and Hamilton each made a pair of free throws in the final 30 seconds.

Isaiah Williams had 35 points for Utah Valley (3-3), with 25 coming in the second half. Geddes Robinson had 16 points and 11 rebounds for the Wolverines.
