ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — David Rufful had 19 points, including three 3-pointers, and seven rebounds to lead Dartmouth to a 64-52 victory Friday over Alaska-Anchorage in a Great Alaska Shootout consolation game.

Jvonte Brooks added 15 points and 10 rebounds, and Jabari Trotter scored 12 as the Big Green (2-3) broke open a close game after halftime.

Travis Thompson had 11 points and Phillip Hearn scored 10 for the Seawolves (0-2).

The game was tied 25-25 at halftime, and Alaska-Anchorage was within two points, 32-30, after Taylor Rohde made one of two free throws with 15:57 to play. But Dartmouth responded with a 20-5 run over the next 10 minutes to put the game away. Brooks scored eight of the Big Green’s points during the run.

Dartmouth’s opponent Saturday will be the winner of the Central Michigan-UC Irvine game later Friday, and Alaska-Anchorage will play the loser of that game.
