HIGH POINT, N.C. (AP) — Nick Barbour scored 20 points, including 10 in overtime, to lead High Point in an 80-72 win over The Citadel on Saturday night.

After sinking a jumper with 2 seconds left to send the contest into overtime at 65-all, The Citadel’s Marshall Harris hit one of two foul shots to give the Bulldogs a one-point lead.

It would be their last.

Xavier Martin, who led the Panthers (2-3) with 21 points, hit one of two foul shots and converted a three-point play to push High Point back on top 69-66.

Lawrence Miller’s jumper pulled the Bulldogs back within one, but Barbour took over from there. He sank seven free throws and connected on a 3 in the final 2:26 to seal it.

Mike Groselle scored 15 points and grabbed 13 boards to lead The Citadel (2-3).

Corey Law added 13 points and 15 rebounds for High Point.
