TALENT, Ore. (AP) — Police say three gunshots fired into a Southern Oregon home on Thanksgiving Day stemmed from “relationship issues.”
Talent Police Chief Mike Moran tells the Medford Mail Tribune (http://bit.ly/vmIOpF ) that authorities are still investigating the nature of the dispute.
Nobody was injured in the incident, but police say broken glass showered an 11-year-old girl when bullets tore through a window near where she had been sleeping.
Police say 28-year-old Daniel Adrian Merlina fired three shots into a home in Talent following an argument through a closed door. Merlina remained in the Jackson County Jail on attempted murder and other charges.
