KINGSTON, R.I. (AP) — Darryl Partin scored 25 points, including four 3-pointers, to lead Boston University in a 68-61 win over Hofstra on Sunday.

D.J. Irving scored 15 points for the Terriers (2-4), including three of the game’s last five points and adding a steal in the final minute of the TicketCity Legends Classic’s Kingston subregional. Patrick Hazel added 11 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.

The Pride led 33-31 at the break and 56-53 with just 6:11 to play when Boston put together its game-winning rally.

Partin sank a pair of foul shots to spark a 10-1 Terriers run for a lead they wouldn’t relinquish.

Hofstra pulled back within 63-61 with 1:18 left, but Irving’s layup and a foul shot sealed it for Boston.

Hofstra (3-4) had just one player in double figures, as Mike Moore scored 27 points and pulled down 11 rebounds. He was 5 of 9 on 3-pointers.
