BELLEVUE, Wash. (AP) — Police in Bellevue, Wash., say two men responding to a Craigslist ad Saturday discovered the body of a man who had been dead for at least a day.

Lt. Marcia Harnden says they answered an ad to rent a room and were greeted at the door by a 4-year-old boy who told them he couldn’t wake his dad.

The men took the boy to a neighbor’s house. She says one of the men and a neighbor found a 35-year-old man who probably been dead for about 24 to 48 hours.

The King County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause of death but police don’t suspect a crime occurred.

Harnden says the boy last recalled Thanksgiving with his father. She says the boy was hungry and upset, but unharmed. He spent Saturday night with his grandparents.
