Sam Houston State beats Dallas Christian 82-63

HUNTSVILLE, Texas (AP) — Konner Tucker scored 22 points to lead Sam Houston State to an 82-63 victory over Dallas Christian Tuesday night.

Demarcus Gatlin added 14 points and Marcus James and Aaron Harwell scored 10 apiece for the Bearkats (2-5), who had lost five straight, all on the road. Sam Houston State scored the first 14 points and led 47-26 at halftime. James had a game-high eight rebounds for the Bearkats.

Malcolm McCarty led the Crusaders (3-7) with 25 points and nine rebounds, and Roderick Johnson added 14 points. Dallas Christian plays in the National Christian College Athletic Association.
