NEW YORK (AP) — Abilio romped to a 614-length victory over Isn’tlovejustgrand on Wednesday in the $53,000 allowance feature on the soft turf at Aqueduct.
A 4-year-old gelding, Abilio took charge on the final turn to secure his fourth win in 12 starts. The time was 1:39.72 for the one mile.
Abilio, trained by Linda Rice and ridden by Junior Alvarado, paid $12.60, $6.10 and $3.80. Isn’tlovejustgrand returned $8 and $4.10 while War Hoot, the 7-5 favorite, paid $2.80 to show.
