CARSON — State, federal and Skamania County officials are making a slight change to snow-plowing plans for the Upper Wind River Winter Sports Area.

Road No. 30 will be plowed to Koshko Sno-Park, which will be available exclusively for snowmobile riders. The Old Man Pass Sno-Park will be plowed for skiers and snowshoers. The tubing hill parking lot also will be plowed.

Originally, the plan for road No. 30 was to plow as far north as McClellan Sno-Park for non-motorized users.

Financing for snow removal is limited this winter and plowing may be discontinued before spring.
