VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) — A Hillsboro, Ore., man accused of driving drunk and causing a Vancouver, Wash., crash that killed an infant has pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide.
The Columbian reports (http://bit.ly/sEhbCl) that 26-year-old Christopher Roman will be sentenced Dec. 9.
Clark County Senior Deputy Prosecutor Kasey Vu says Roman faces between 4 12 and 5 12 years in prison. Vu says the plea Wednesday didn’t involve a plea bargain.
Prosecutors alleged Roman was intoxicated and driving fast on Aug. 21 on northbound Interstate 5 when he lost control of his car and struck a car on the side of the freeway.
