MIAMI (AP) — Miami Marlins left fielder Logan Morrison will undergo arthroscopic surgery Monday to repair a lingering injury to his right knee.
He should be ready for the start of spring training, said his agent, Fred Wray.
Morrison was slowed by tendinitis in the knee for much of the season. In addition, he required five stitches in the knee in August after an outfield collision and twice slammed it against walls chasing flyballs in September.
Morrison hit .247 this year with 23 home runs and 72 RBIs in 123 games.
