SEATTLE (AP) — A Federal Aviation Administration spokesman says a departing light plane with two people aboard crashed and collided with an empty aircraft parked at Seattle’s Boeing Field.

Spokesman Mike Fergus says the plane that crashed caught fire and burned Wednesday night.

KIRO-TV reports firefighters extinguished the fire but there was no immediate word on the status of the two occupants.
