GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Alabama and Florida have defensive changes.

The No. 3 Crimson Tide are without linebacker C.J. Mosley, who sustained an elbow injury last week against Arkansas. Mosley, who returned an interception for a touchdown last year against Florida, missed practice this week and had been questionable for Saturday night’s game. Nico Johnson started in his place.

Alabama running back Eddie Lacy is available despite being limited in practice with a foot injury.

The 12th-ranked Gators are without safety De’Ante “Pop” Saunders. Team officials say coach Will Muschamp will address Saunders’ absence after the game. Josh Evans started in his place.

Florida had defensive linemen Dominique Easley and Sharrif Floyd in the starting lineup. They were reportedly injured in practice Tuesday.
