TriMet bus driver sustains minor injuries in crash

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A TriMet bus driver sustained minor injuries after a car crashed into the front of her bus.

A TriMet spokeswoman tells The Oregonian (http://bit.ly/nIToNy ) the driver was on her way to start her route Sherwood-to-Gresham route when the accident occurred Friday afternoon. The driver was not identified, but officials say she has worked at TriMet for 14 years.

The bus driver was taken to a hospital. The driver of the car was not injured.
