VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) — A Vancouver, Wash., woman has won the second annual Foster Farms Fresh Chicken Cooking Contest.

The Columbian (http://bit.ly/oRIYzh) reports Recbecca Spence won with a recipe for Crispy Orange Chicken with Fennel, Avacado and Orange Salad. Her recipe was selected out of about 2,000 entries.

She says she created the recipe because she wanted to learn how to cook with fennel.

Her prize is $10,000 and a year’s supply of fresh chicken from Foster Farms, which has operations in California, Oregon and Washington.
