TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — For three straight weeks the Arizona Cardinals have had a chance to win at the end and blown it.

The Cardinals are taking the party line that three defeats by a combined eight points show how close Arizona is to success.

Quarterback Kevin Kolb, a severe self-critic and already the target of no-longer welcoming fans on local radio talk shows, could not succeed on a late drive Sunday against the New York Giants after Arizona blew a 10-point lead with five minutes to play.
