Wine bottle clue helps solve Bend burglary

BEND, Ore. (AP) — A shoplifted bottle of wine helped police arrest a couple of suspects in a Bend burglary.

KTVZ reports (http://bit.ly/obqfHH) police were investigating the burglary Friday when the homeowner said the wine was not his. Police checked surveillance video at a nearby convenience store and identified a suspect in the shoplifting.

The suspect and another man linked to the crimes were arrested on theft and burglary charges.
