OAK HARBOR, Wash. (AP) — The Island County, Wash., sheriff says one man has been arrested after two other men — both 80 years old — were found dead in separate Whidbey Island locations near the town of Oak Harbor.

Sheriff Mark Brown says 30-year-old Joshua D. Lambert is a suspect in one death and “a person of high interest” in the other. He was booked into the Island County Jail for investigation of homicide.

The bodies were found Monday afternoon about two to three miles apart. Lambert was arrested shortly after 5 p.m. Monday in Oak Harbor. Brown declined late Monday to identify the victims or say how they died or exactly where they were found. He also declined comment on Lambert’s possible relationship to the older men.
