Man’s body found on train tracks in NW Wash.

GOLD BAR, Wash. (AP) — A Snohomish County sheriff’s spokeswoman says a man’s body has been found on train tracks near U.S. Highway 2 in the Gold Bar, Wash., area. Spokeswoman Rebecca Hover says the man appears to have been hit by a train. A passing train reported the body Wednesday evening.

The medical examiner will determine the man’s identity.

The sheriff’s office is investigating the death.
