Prairie JROTC joins cyber-security competition

Brush Prairie — Prairie High School Air Force JROTC has joined CyberPatriot IV, a national cyber-defense challenge. CyberPatriot is a cyber security competition produced by the Air Force Association.

The competition is designed to motivate, educate and teach students how to protect the computer and network systems the world relies on.

Students from Prairie will compete with more than 700 other teams. According to the AFA, cyber security is one of the top national security concerns in today’s high-tech society.
