TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — While investigating the Hilltop Crips gang in Tacoma, the South Sound Gang Task Force interviewed a man who said he witnessed a fatal shooting in 1989.

The Pierce County prosecutor’s office says that led to the filing of a murder charge Thursday against 38-year-old Dontese White.

The prosecutor’s office says he’s a gang member who was 16 when he shot Kathleen Graham after she complained about a drug deal.
