TOKYO (AP) — Olympic champion Nastia Liukin told The Associated Press she is training again with the hope of making the London Olympics.

Liukin has taken most of the last three years off. But she said Saturday that she doesn’t want to look back with any regrets, and feels she owes it to herself to try to make London. She’s been working with her father Valeri at home — he’s already working on a “crazy” uneven bars routine — and plans to resume two-a-days when she returns from the world gymnastics championships.

Liukin says she’ll focus on uneven bars and balance beam, and doesn’t think she’ll do the all-around again.

In addition to her all-around gold, Liukin won silvers for the team competition, balance beam and uneven bars, and a bronze medal on floor.
