BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — The Buffalo Sabres have signed prospect forwards Riley Boychuk and Jonathan Parker to three-year entry level contracts.

Boychuk was Buffalo’s seventh-round pick in the 2010 draft. From Abbotsford, British Columbia, he completed a four-year career with the Western Hockey League Portland Winterhawks, where he had 39 goals, 44 assists and 391 penalty minutes in 194 games.

Parker is an undrafted rookie who was invited to take part in training camp last month. From Solana Beach, Calif., Parker had 77 goals and 78 assists in 205 games split between WHL Prince Albert and Seattle.

The moves were announced Thursday, a day before the Sabres open their season against Anaheim at Helsinki, Finland.
