PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A Jeep belonging to the father of a man suspected of two killings in the Pacific Northwest has been found in the same rural Oregon county where the body of a 19-year-old was found earlier this week.
The Oregon State Police say the Jeep belongs to David Jones Pedersen, of Everett., Wash., who is missing and is considered endangered.
On Wednesday, Pedersen’s son and the son’s girlfriend were stopped by the California Highway Patrol. They are suspects in the deaths of Pedersen’s wife, Leslie, and the 19-year-old Oregon man, Cody Myers.
The body of Leslie Pedersen was found Sept. 28 in Everett, Wash. Myers,, of Lafayette, Ore., was found Tuesday.
Police discovered the Jeep Patriot early Friday in rural Linn County, Ore.
