FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — Antonio Cromartie says he hopes Tom Brady and the New England Patriots target him in the Jets’ secondary. Well, the New York cornerback better be careful what he wishes for, especially with the way the Patriots’ offense has played.

The Jets have to figure out how to stop Brady, Wes Welker and the high-scoring Patriots, and know it won’t be easy.

Defensive coordinator Mike Pettine says the team’s “menu is a little fuller” this week because the Patriots “are a flavor-of-the-week offense.” He says New England’s offense is smart and defending it is sort of like “chasing ghosts” at times, so New York needs to use multiple defensive looks.

Coach Rex Ryan says he’s “sure” All-Pro cornerback Darrelle Revis will match up with Welker at times Sunday in New England.
