PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Portland police say they have identified the driver responsible for a hit-and-run fatality Tuesday near Portland International Airport.
Police say the man was driving a truck under contract to the Postal Service. They said Thursday he’s cooperating with investigators.
KATU reports (http://bit.ly/obei6k ) the 21-year-old woman who was killed, Abaynesh Awokie, was walking to her job at the airport when she was hit.
