BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — LSU starting center P.J. Lonergan has hurt his left leg during Saturday’s game against Florida.

Lonergan went down while Spencer Ware ran for an 8-yard score in the second quarter, which put No. 1 LSU up 24-0 on the 17th-ranked Gators.

Lonergan limped off the field and did not immediately go to the locker room, instead getting re-taped while Florida ran out all but the final seconds of the half with its next offensive possession.

However, T-Bob Hebert took over at center on LSU’s first possession of the second half.
