POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — Brody McKnight kicked four field goals to lead 16th-ranked Montana to a 33-0 Big Sky Conference win over Idaho State on Saturday.

McKnight’s field goals came from 44, 51, 48 and 42 yards as he moved into fourth place on the all-time scoring list for the Grizzlies (4-2, 3-1 Big Sky).

Montana’s defense had seven takeaways, including four fumble recoveries, and held Idaho State (2-4, 1-3) to minus 26 yards rushing and 121 yards of total offense. Bo Tully’s interception return in the first two minutes of the game set up McKnight’s first field goal.

Montana had 499 yards of offense and got touchdown runs of 28 yards from Jabin Sambrano and 17 yards from Jordan Canada.

The Grizzly defense limited ISU’s Rodrick Rumble, top receiver in the FCS, to six catches for 73 yards. He was averaging 11 catches per game coming into the contest.
