MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minnesota Vikings cornerback Antoine Winfield and receiver Bernard Berrian are inactive for their game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Winfield was no surprise. He was listed as doubtful after injuring his neck last week against Kansas City. But Sunday’s news on Berrian was unexpected. He was not listed on the injury report all week, but did have a discussion with coach Leslie Frazier after getting into a spat on Twitter with a state representative who supports the team’s efforts for a new stadium.
Berrian has just two catches for 37 yards this season despite playing more than any other Vikings receiver.
Punter Chris Kluwe is active after being listed as questionable with a strained right hamstring.
