Syracuse holding its own at midpoint of season

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) — Midway through his third season at his alma mater, Syracuse coach Doug Marrone is certain of one thing: the Orange need to improve if they hope to come close to duplicating the success of last season.

Syracuse is 4-2 and could easily be 5-1 or 0-6.
