EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) — Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Bernard Berrian says he’s “already over” not playing in last Sunday’s game.

Berrian declined Wednesday to discuss his punishment, calling it “old news.” It was the first time Berrian was available to reporters since coach Leslie Frazier put him on the inactive list against Arizona for an unspecified disciplinary reason. Berrian said he doesn’t like to talk about “stuff that’s in the past.”

Berrian has only two catches for 37 yards this year. He also created controversy last week when he engaged in an argument on Twitter with a state lawmaker over Berrian’s on-field performance.

Berrian says he believes he’s back in good standing with the team. The Vikings play at Chicago this Sunday night.
