Emergency repairs near the East Camas Slough Bridge have been completed earlier than expected and state Highway 14 westbound from Camas has been reopened, an official said about 5:45 p.m. Tuesday.

In an earlier bulletin from the Washington Department of Transportation on Tuesday, officials said crews were repairing a “void” that developed under the north side of the highway Tuesday afternoon. They initially had thought repairs would take all night.
