OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — NBA All-Stars Kevin Durant and Blake Griffin will play on opposite teams in a charity basketball game next week in Oklahoma City.
Retired NBA player Desmond Mason, who is helping to organize the event, said Wednesday that LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul and Russell Westbrook are also expected to play in the game scheduled for Oct. 23 at the Cox Convention Center downtown, just across from the Oklahoma City Thunder’s home arena.
Organizers say Durant and Griffin will choose nonprofit organizations, and some proceeds from the ticket sales will go to the charities.
