GOLDEN, Colo. (AP) — A man faces up to life in prison after pleading guilty to sexual assaults against three women in the Denver area.

The Jefferson County district attorney’s office says 33-year-old Marc O’Leary pleaded guilty Thursday to 28 counts involving sexual assaults in Westminster, Golden and Aurora last year and in January.

He also pleaded guilty to an attempted sexual assault in the Denver suburb of Lakewood, where O’Leary lives.

He faces multiple terms of 16 years to life at his sentencing Dec. 9.

Police arrested O’Leary in February, a month after a woman in Golden reported a sexual assault. Police noticed similarities between that assault and other cases.

DA spokeswoman Pam Russell says O’Leary also faces sexual assault charges in two cases in King and Snohomish counties in Washington state.
