Golf tournament to benefit diabetes education

Ogden — Cherry City Electric held its third annual Charity Golf Tournament on Sept. 26 at Royal Oaks Country Club.

More than $25,000 was raised for the PeaceHealth Southwest Washington Medical Center Foundation.

Businesses as well as corporate sponsors enjoyed medical-themed activities during the tournament. Proceeds will help provide diabetes education to low-income individuals.
