ARCADIA, Calif. (AP) — Joker Face defeated Myhorseofcourse by 312 lengths to win the $28,050 Rosemead Purse at Santa Anita on Friday.
Ridden by Rafael Bejarano, Joker Face ran one mile on the turf in 1:35.47 and paid $3.40, $2.80 and $2.20 as the 7-10 favorite. It was Bejarano’s third winner on the card.
Myhorseofcourse returned $9 and $5.40, while Blue Grass Miss paid $5 to show.
The victory, worth $16,200, increased Joker Face’s career earnings to $58,860, with two wins in six starts.
