Letter: Protests occupy our service dollars

The Columbian
Published: October 13, 2011, 5:00pm

Thank you “Occupy” protesters for gathering to support the so-called 99 percent. Now, 90 percent of us Americans will work to earn the hundreds of thousands of dollars across the country to help manage your protest.

Next time, do me a favor and have your campers donate $100 each and obtain the proper permits because your passion just cost the very people you claim to support.
