I am writing this letter to support Troy Van Dinter as the next mayor of La Center. Full disclosure: Van Dinter is my neighbor and a friend.
Because I have worked with Van Dinter in volunteer positions, I know that he leads quietly, has integrity and understands accounting and finance. I have also seen Van Dinter in many of his paid positions and know he also understand numbers and budgets from a for-profit business standpoint.
La Center would be well served if we elect Van Dinter as our next mayor.
His fiscally conservative nature and ability to work well with others is well timed for the current needs of our community.
