Police kill driver of stolen car in Salem

SALEM, Ore. (AP) — Police have killed the driver of a stolen car in Salem.

Police say they were chasing the car about 1 a.m. Monday when it crashed through a stop sign and into a parked car.

The department says the driver failed to comply with officers and his actions placed officers in imminent danger.

Two officers fired. The man died at the scene.
