DAVIE, Fla. (AP) — Safety Gerald Alexander has signed with the Miami Dolphins, who have placed receiver Roberto Wallace on injured reserve.
Alexander, a fifth-year pro, has made 30 career starts while playing with the Panthers, Jaguars and Lions. He was with the Dolphins briefly before the season and was released Sept. 3.
Wallace, a second-year pro, played in two games for Miami this season and had no catches.
