I support Mayor Jim Irish for re-election. It is evident during the last eight years, under his leadership, that many enhancements have been made in La Center for all of us to enjoy. His drive and determination to sustain our quality of life during these tough economic times is evident as he not only “talks the talk” of La Center throughout Clark County but also “walks the walk,” working with the city’s staff in securing grants and low-interest loans for our streets, parks, trails and our award-winning wastewater treatment plant.
