Edgewood Park — The International Air & Hospitality Academy is gaining a sister in a vocational school in China. Ed Bedecarrax, IAHA’s director of education, will travel to China in late October to negotiate the final details of the relationship. “It is our hope that this Sister School Relationship Agreement will lead to an exchange of hospitality instructors and open the doors for students attending Shuangliu’s hospitality programs to study abroad in Vancouver and our students to study abroad in Chengdu, China,” said Arch Miller, IAHA founder. Developing an association between the two schools has been in the works for about a year. One of the academy’s hopes is to establish a satellite campus in China.
