Battle Ground — Battle Ground schoolchildren got the royal treatment during lunch on Oct. 19. School board members, staff members, Battle Ground Mayor Mike Ciraulo and employees of Sodexo School Services, the school district’s contract food-service provider, served lunches at six of the district’s primary schools. Sodexo promotes healthful school lunches each year through the annual guest chef event.
