SEATTLE (AP) — The Pacific Northwest Seismic Network recorded a small magnitude 2.0 quake at 1:49 a.m. Friday about two miles under Mount St. Helens.

Small quakes are not unusual in Washington.

The latest information from the Cascades Volcano Observatory found normal levels of background seismicity at all volcanoes in the Cascade Range.

On Oct. 14 there was a magnitude 2.9 earthquake at Mount Rainier.
