DURHAM, N.H. (AP) — Kevin Decker had 335 yards of total offense and the go-ahead touchdown to lead New Hampshire over Rhode Island 31-24 on Saturday.

Trailing 24-21 with 5:51 left in the third quarter, Decker led a six-play, 68-yard drive, capped by his 1-yard TD run.

Decker was 14 of 21 for 257 yards and ran for another 78 on 12 carries.

After Decker put the Wildcats (6-2, 4-1 Colonial Athletic Association) ahead 28-24 late in the third quarter, the Rams drove within field goal range.

Rhode Island’s Louis Feinstein, however, missed the 44-yard kick giving it back to the Wildcats. On the ensuing drive New Hampshire kicked a field goal of its own, good for 28 yards by Mike MacArthur for the final margin.

Robert Bentsen led the Rams (2-6, 1-4) with 240 yards, a touchdown and an interception on 20 of 31 passing.
