Two Vancouver residents — including a woman who is eight months pregnant — were taken to the hospital Friday after a rear-end crash on Interstate 205, according to the Washington State Patrol.
A WSP bulletin said Theresa Spoeneman, 28, a passenger in a car driven by Scott A. Spoeneman, 32, complained of lower abdominal pain after the 4:21 p.m. crash and was taken by ambulance to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center.
She was reported in satisfactory condition Friday evening.
Scott Spoeneman reported back and chest pain and was also taken by ambulance to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. He was treated and released.
The WSP said the Spoenemans were driving north on I-205 just south of Mill Plain Boulevard in a 2011 Ford Fusion when they slowed for traffic and were struck from behind by a 1993 Honda Accord driven by James H. Koelher, 21, of Vancouver.
