4th gang slaying of the year in Yakima County

YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) — Police say a fatal shooting in Yakima was gang-related.

Witnesses told police Ramon Flores was shot Saturday night outside an apartment building by two men who walked up and fled in a car.

The Yakima Herald-Republic reports (http://bit.ly/vrXbxm ) it was the fourth gang-related slaying this year in Yakima County — half the number of this time last year.

Lt. Mike Merryman says Flores was wearing gang clothing.
