HOUSTON (AP) — Jacksonville rookie quarterback Blaine Gabbert has been injured in the first quarter against the Houston Texans.

Gabbert was hurt on an 11-yard run on Jacksonville’s first series. He slid at the end of the run and Houston’s Brian Cushing fell on his knee.

He remained on the grass for a couple of minutes and was looked at by trainers before being helped off the field.

There was no immediate word on the nature of his injury.

Gabbert, the 10th overall pick in this year’s draft, was replaced by Luke McCown.
