PISCATAWAY, N.J. (AP) — Paralyzed former player Eric LeGrand has made his debut as a radio analyst for the Rutgers Football Network at the Scarlet Knights’ season opener against North Carolina Central on Thursday night.

Saying he was a little nervous but showing no signs of it on the air, the defensive tackle gave pregame and halftime analysis sitting in High Point Solutions Stadium.

It marked the first time he has attended a Rutgers game since he was paralyzed making a special teams tackle for the Scarlet Knights against Army at the Meadowlands in October.

The senior has experienced some sensations in his body and he continues his rehabilitation.
