PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A man who killed a woman in a drunken driving crash was sentenced Thursday in Portland to more than 20 years in prison.

The Oregonian reports (http://bit.ly/nGjFde) Multnomah County Circuit Judge Janice Wilson gave Jesse Lee Ream a sentence five years longer than prosecutors recommended because of record of more than two decades of crimes and driving violations, mostly involving alcohol.

Ream pleaded guilty to manslaughter and no contest to other charges in the February crash in Portland that killed 32-year-old Tessa Conradi Marrella.
